I am a photographer (or one who takes pictures - notice I didn't say I was any particular type of photographer or had any particular skill level). I would like to say that I was born with a camera in my hand and have been taking pictures my whole life, but that would be the furthest from the truth. I know what I like, and capturing images of what I like makes me happy. To me, a picture isn't so much about what you see, as how it makes you feel. If I can capture an image that evokes a memory or an emotion in someone, then I feel like I have done a good job.
I have come into the world of Photography late in life, having spent the majority of my professional career working in the cyber security field. I became fascinated with digital imagery about 30 years ago when I was first exposed to the technology as part of a project I was working on. I thought this was the coolest thing, and over the years, continued to explore its utility and applications. That was the science side of the bits and pixels. Unfortunately, I never seemed to have the time to look past the science into the artistic side of capturing images that would create a positive reaction in myself and hopefully in others…. That is, Until Now.
Enjoy the pictures!!
